There's no doubt that sisters, Venus and Serena Williams are perhaps the greatest female tennis players in the world. Over the years, to say which one can claim the number one spot has been a toss up and a battle of the fittest. Yet one only look at the numbers and they speak for themselves. Serena made history and set records yet again by defeating her elder sibling. Today, Serena's numbers gave you an inkling of her ability to claim titles and slaughter her opponents on the court. Just so happen that this opponent, carries the same DNA. By defeating Venus at today's Wimbledon tournament, Serena captured the women's singles title in a 7-6, 6-2 win for the third time. As she jogged to the net to congratulate her sister, the shear talent, prowess and star power was evident but what was more evident was the bond between sisters. As Serena smiled and extended her hand, Venus quickly grabbed her for a hug. Now ranked as number 2 and 3 respectively, the duo have appeared 14x at Grand Slam, a feat no other female tennis player has ever done. And if you think they were done, shortly after, the superstar sisters strolled onto the courts once again together to face off against Australians, Samantha Stosur and Renne Stubbs. Once again holding down the number one spot, the sisters defeated them to capture the doubles title in 7-6, 6-4 wins, collecting their 9th women's doubles Grand Slam title. Serena said it best, "Nothing like winning a title with your sister."Saturday, July 4, 2009

What Could Have Been...
The footage of Michael Jackson rehearsing at the Staples Center in preparation for the London Tour, two days before he passed, is uncanny. Critics have already dug in for the kill, scrutinizing that the Pop star was showing signs of tiredness half way into his show etc. Who knows how long he was practicing, who knows if he was exercising. His trainer said Michael Jackson was working very hard to be fit and ready. He's a perfectionist but one thing I can say about what could have been was that fans and the world would have seen greatness and would have been astonished to see at 50 Michael didn't lose a beat. The Greatest! Come Tuesday, the world will say a final goodbye to Michael as his funeral is scheduled to take place at 10:00 at the Staples Center. It's going to be a very sad day in history. Reminds me of that song, Never Can Say Goodbye.

Jackson 5 Songs
Since Michael's death, we've been hearing a lot of Jackson Five oldies. Every time I hear Got To Be There, it just makes me so sad. I love this song. I just really watched the video and listened to the words. But more than that it's the innocence in Michael's voice that touches you. It's just amazing how at such a tender age Michael could convey so many emotions in a song that you take the obvious elements out and you find someting so much deeper. That's the beauty of what music should be.

Jermaine Jackson's Tearful Interview
This morning Jermaine Jackson spoke with Matt Lauer in a two part exclusive interview on the Today's Show and shared his reaction and feelings about coping with Michael's death. After watching it this morning, one thing that Jermaine said that was so real and so profound was when he said, "I wish it was me". For many who saw Michael as immortal being, this teary interview, showed the human nature of Michael's death and a family that is mourning the loss. We all can identify with this. Michael was human, and like human beings we all have our appointed time to die. Michael is doing what not many can say they can and will do and that is become immortal in death as his music and memories live through his legions of fans. More of the interview will be featured tomorrow.Visit msnbc.com for Breaking News, World News, and News about the Economy

Drake - Best I Ever Had
FINALLY! Drake's video for Best I Ever Had is out. To say it was worth the wait... fell short for me. It didn't blow me away. I can say all of what the video lacked but hey, after a hit that's holding down the #3 spot on Billboard's Hot 100, can't hate, Drake's "D" best. Throw them D's!

The details of Michael Jackson's will have been revealed. Michael requested that in the event that his mother, Katherine Jackson is unable to raise his children or in the event of death, Diana Ross is the alternate guardian. WOW! We knew they were extremely close but that's amazing. Michael's will was written in 2002 and is estimated at around $567 million, with a net worth of $236.6 million—which is to be placed in the private Michael Jackson Family Trust. It also states that Michael's estate "consists of non-cash, non-liquid assets, including primarily an interest in a catalog of music royalty rights which is currently being administered by Sony-ATV, and interests in various entities." For the full detailed report of the will click on the highlighted link or go directly to http://images.eonline.com/static/news/pdf/JacksonWill.pdf. Also, Michael Jackson's Netherlands burial will not take place due to legal issues/restrictions. More details to come
